Grandparents Locked Girl in Bathroom for Six
Years
Summary: The
grandparents of the girl, who is now 9, locked her up in the restroom for 6
years. She was only allowed to come out to go to school. They started locking her up in the restroom
since she was 3 years old because they thought her behavior wasn’t acceptable. The
girl got examined by a psychologist and she said that that was normal behavior
for a 3 year old. Brian G. Hart and Rivae L. Hart are now in jail. They were
both charged with kidnapping and third-degree felony child endangering. Rivae
is the maternal grandmother of the girl and her 8 year old brother.
What I think:
I don’t think this makes any sense. I don’t find any good reason for these
people to have done such a cruel thing to a young girl like this. She was just
3 years old and they locked her in the restroom. I don’t think this was a right
thing to do. If they wanted to discipline her they should have talked to her
first. She was a little girl and she didn’t know what she was doing.
