Reflection: What Thomas Carlyle is trying to say that a man needs to have a goal to run like a ship needs a rudder to sail. When you don’t have goals for life well than you don’t have a reason to keep going and you’re not doing nothing with your life. You have to have goals so you can accomplish things in life.
